The main components of the three-dimensional warehouse: overhead racks, stackers, RGV trolleys and conveyors on each floor. The enterprise management system (ERP) is combined with the warehouse management system (WMS) to complete automated warehouse entry and exit operations. The main operation process is the ERP system issuing instructions, which are executed by the WMS system. The stacker crane is responsible for storing and transporting the goods to the designated cargo position or output port. The AGV trolley is an unmanned guided vehicle, which is equipped with electromagnetic or optical automatic guidance devices, which can travel along a prescribed guidance path. It is transport vehicle with safety protection and various transfer functions. It can be used for 24 hours without self-charge. Intermittent operations can be shuttled back and forth in the production workshop. 

Automated warehouse advantage

1. Improve the utilization rate of space and effectively and rationally arrange the storage of goods. At present, our company has 6400 cargo spaces in 8rows and 10 floors in the fist phase of the warehouse, covering an area of about 2000 square meters, and its spaces are placed in a flat warehouse, at least 8,000 square meters-10,000 square meters of usable area will be required. In order to meet the production needs in the later stage, our company will add two phases of warehouse.

The whole process adopts the automatic and intelligent storage and retrieval function,  can operate 24hours per day, which speeds up the pace of storage and retrieval of goods, reduces labor intensity, and improves production efficiency. The current average pickup time is about 3 to 4 minutes, with a 40GP container calculated, all stocking operations can be completed within 1 to 2 hours.
